CONCEPT: dance yoga combines yoga poses with flowing dance moves, the class is based on dynamic yoga warm-ups, as well as learning choreography.


 What to expect in a class? 

The class is divided in 3 parts: 

We start with warm-ups, stretching, muscle strengthening, based on dance exercises, floorwork and yoga poses. We do deep body preparation with stretching, that gives better range of motion, reinforces the muscle fibers, improves stability, neuromuscular control and coordination. Then we go a little bit deeper by alternating acrobatic moves for better balance, flexibility and muscle building.

The second part of the class is based on choreography learning, by combining yoga poses (the ones we already worked on during the warm-ups), flowing from one to another with dance moves, while playing modern soundtracks. We always finish with positive visualization and relaxation (5mn), based on mindfulness techniques, self-growth coaching techniques and positive psychology, in order to completely relax the body and mind.

Who is this class for ? 

Child, adult, teenager, man, woman, beginner or advanced, anyone can join the class as I always offer various options to adjust the poses according to your physical capacities. This is a perfect way to start yoga or dance, or to find out about the combination of both practices, while taking care of your body, and maintaining good joints and muscle fibers.

What are the benefits ? 

Better muscle flexibility, but also in the spine, which will reduce chronic back pain. 
Better harmony throughout the body by working on all the muscles, especially the deep ones that protect the bones. 
Better memory and focus, thanks to the sequences that you need to memorize. 
Building persistence, self-confidence, tolerance, sweetness and flow, that will help you in your everyday life. 
Not to mention that yoga reinforces our immune system, releases stress and tensions, improves sleep quality, and helps us stay in the present moment by letting go of inconsistent thoughts.

Who is this training made for ? 


The 200h long training is designed for beginners who want to start or deepen their Dance Yoga practice in order to teach it.

The 50h short training is designed for dance, yoga or fitness professionals.
Official yoga certification doesn’t exist in France. In order to teach, we advise to have a strong experience in at least one of the two practices. This training is however open to everyone who wants to deepen their knowledge, discover a new discipline… 
You can do this training at your own pace, we suggest not to exceed 1 month for the short training, and 4 months for the long one, in order to get the best benefits out of it. The timing you will choose will also depend on your background.

Training program: 

You will find hereafter our theory program. As far as the physical practice is concerned, you will be able to attend classes at your own pace, whenever it is suitable for you. We have a large choice of classes that you can access directly on our platform. You will learn about all the techniques and advice to prepare and teach a safe class.




History and philosophy module: you will learn about Yoga and dance history, as well as yoga and yoga dance philosophy.

Pedagogy module: pedagogy is about psychology. You must understand your student’s needs to lead a good class. We will teach you easy and effective ways to help you give clear and quick instructions. With this module, you will learn or improve your instruction skills.

Anatomy module: before teaching or even practicing, you must have a good knowledge of your body and good alignment, in order to avoid injuries. In this module (approved by a physiotherapist/osteopath) you will learn about the body and how it works, so that you can teach safely. This will also be combined with the yoga poses and dance moves.

Dance module: regardless of your current activity, whether you are already teaching or not, this module will make you work on flow, coordination and your femininity, through modern Jazz basics.

Yoga poses module: by learning the poses and their modifications, you will be able to adjust your classes for each student, or to improve your own practice if you are not planning to teach. We will detail each pose (30 per module) so you can teach safely without disturbing the class flow. This will give you the tools to sequence fun classes, while helping your students to improve their practice at their own pace. This is a 4h module, and you will also get comprehensive sheets (+pictures) of all the 30 poses. 

Warm-up module: how to warm-up the body. Learn about the rights moves to warm-up the muscles and joints.

Cool-down module: learn about the different techniques to cool the body down at the end of the practice.

Class sequencing module: we will teach you how to sequence a safe, fun and modern class according to your artistic and musical tastes, in order to add a touch of your personality into your teaching.

WHAT TO EXPECT DURING THE TRAINING

You can learn at your own pace, according to your schedule. 100% accessible online, 24/24 and 7/7. Videos are already uploaded and accessible on the platform. We also offer live group classes upon request (available on replay if the timing doesn’t suit you). You can send us videos of your exercises if needed. We will send you a correction back. One teacher dedicated to the online training will be available daily on whatsapp (except on sundays) and very soon on our new platform for group work.

Devices: you will need a computer or tablet to watch the videos, and a phone or camera so you can film your exercises and send them to us.

As soon as your registration is confirmed, you will get access to the platform where you will find videos and pdf available for download. 

In person sessions: we are waiting for the new covid measures to get back to those sessions. In the meantime, we will offer intensive practice days in June, July and August 2021. We will post more information about it here.

After a career shift, I did certifications in sports and health, Yoga 500h, and Pilates. I am leading this online training along with my team. 


I have a sports background in dance, acrobatic rock and pole dance, so this is why I wanted a dynamic and danced yoga. 


I have a 10 years experience as a shop manager (employed and self-employed), and I have decided to continue my career in the sports field, which is a tradition in my family. 


I am happy to share my knowledge in this training with you, through my 2 mains skills: entrepreneurship (sports and wellness) and Dance Yoga + Yoga teaching.

Am I allowed to teach without being certified? 

You cannot teach our concept without the training certification

Am I allowed to use the concept after my training, since this is a filed concept?

Yes, you will receive a certification at the end of the training that will allow you to use it. When you receive your certification, you won’t need to pay an extra fee to use the concept and will be able to teach as many classes as you want.

What is this training for ? 

It gives you the right to teach Dance Yoga. You will also learn the basics of this practice and every information you need to sequence and teach a class.

What is Yoga dance ?

It is a combination of Yoga and Dance. We created a concept that mixes a yoga class with a dance class.

I am over 50 years old, can I attend the training? 

There is no age limit to attend the training

How to choose between the 50h and 200h training ?

The 50h short training is designed for dance, yoga or fitness professionals.
The 200h long training is designed for beginners.

When can I start ? 

We offer personalized training, with 8 people maximum per session. Please contact us for availabilities.

What is the final exam?

After each module, we will ask you to send us either a paper or a video, so we can validate it. 
 
To complete the training, we will ask you to send us a video of a full class.

What is the difference with the in-person training ? 

None, except for your physical presence :-)
